General Manager

Responsibilities:

The General Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of Operations with our operational needs. This individual will be responsible for directing a team and executing the necessary tasks required to ensure all guest expectations are met or exceeded. Additional duties may be assigned. 

• Build sales and exceed customer expectations
• Accountable for operational and quality standards for employees and guests 
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Ensure new and current employees are trained on exceptional customer service and safety practices 
• Conduct interviews and ensure quality applicants are hired and retained
• Forecast and budget weekly and monthly inventory and expenses accordingly
• Schedule and coordinate meetings to ensure all team members understand all policies, procedures, marketing promotions, etc.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Effectively handle employee relations and customers' concerns.
• Develop managers and staff 
• Email and phone correspondence
• Ordering all food and beverages 
• Administrative duties 

Qualifications:  

• Must have 4 years of Full-Service Restaurant Management Experience * Please do not apply if you do not meet this qualification.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Multi-task and time management.
• Strong attention to details 
• Able to motivate staff in all operational areas. 
• Great listening skills and able to take directions from individuals in higher-level positions. 
• Outgoing and excellent communication skills for working with diverse team members, customers and vendors.
• Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft software
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Manager Food Handler Certification
• Texas TABC – Louisiana Bar Card – Oklahoma Liquor License
