DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides daily guidance and oversight to nursing staff to ensure consistent, high quality care for residents. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Clinical Leadership: Plan, implement, and evaluate resident care across multiple care areas
- Team Guidance: Support nursing staff through mentoring, communication, and daily oversight
- Coordination Efforts: Collaborate with administrators, supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain continuity of care
- Record Management: Maintain records, review documentation, and prepare required reports
- Staff Development: Provide training, encourage participation, and promote ongoing learning activities

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You will be scheduled rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Special Requirements:
- You must possess active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
