What We're Looking For:
  • Education:  2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year Clinical Experience, required
  • Licensure/Certification: Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina, required.  Current BCLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is recommended, required.  Current PALS, preferred.  Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s), preferred.
What You'll Do:
  • Drive Patient Throughput: Direct real-time flow of surgical cases from Pre-Op through Intra-Op and PACU to prevent bottlenecks and optimize room utilization.
  • Manage Add-on & Emergency Cases: Triage, prioritize, and slot urgent or emergent trauma/add-on surgeries into the active schedule with minimal disruption to elective cases.
  • Assign Surgical Teams: Match daily staffing rosters (RN Circulators, Surgical Technologists, and First Assists) to specific rooms and cases based on volume, acuity, and staff competencies.
  • Troubleshoot Floor Operations: Step into rooms to provide relief, problem-solve mechanical equipment failures, or assist with unexpected changes in patient clinical status.
