Recreations Director - Now Hiring

A well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Staten Island is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and organized Recreation Director to join our team. This individual will play a key role in enhancing residents' quality of life through engaging activities and recreational programming.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome new residents and identify their recreational interests

• Assist with the development and implementation of monthly activity calendars

• Help coordinate and lead recreational programs tailored to residents' needs and preferences

• Support religious services and special events within the facility

• Assist with organizing monthly celebrations, holiday events, and themed activities

• Work alongside volunteers and help facilitate their involvement in resident programming

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Recreation Assistant or Recreation Director in a healthcare or long-term care setting required

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Proficiency with computers and basic office software

• Positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
