Maintenance Associate
Location: Longview, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $14.50–$15.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement
Your RoleAs a Maintenance Associate, you'll help ensure our residential homes remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for the individuals we serve. This position requires traveling between multiple group homes throughout the day to complete repairs and preventative maintenance. Reliable transportation is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related travel.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong general handyman skills who enjoys troubleshooting and solving maintenance issues in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities

Travel to group homes to perform maintenance and repair work as needed.

Perform general handyman duties, including painting, patching walls, and basic carpentry.

Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including toilets, faucets, and minor leaks.

Repair or replace locks, door hardware, and other building fixtures.

Troubleshoot and repair household appliances, including dryers and other common equipment.

Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance concerns throughout residential homes.

Perform painting and surface refinishing projects.

Troubleshoot basic electrical and plumbing issues.

Assist with basic vehicle maintenance, such as changing a flat tire or replacing a brake light bulb.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests while prioritizing tasks effectively.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience.

Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between multiple group homes throughout the workday.

Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while working independently.
