On Call Servers and Bartenders- Nassau and Suffolk County

Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Servers and Bartenders for on-call, event-based opportunities throughout Long Island, including Nassau County and Suffolk County.

This role is ideal for individuals with hospitality experience who enjoy working a variety of events in dynamic environments. Assignments may include corporate functions, private events, outdoor gatherings, and large-scale summer events. Flexibility, professionalism, and a strong service mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Servers:

• Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests
• Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, linens, and service stations
• Pass hors d’oeuvres, serve plated meals, and clear dishes efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout events
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Assist with event logistics and support team members as needed

Bartenders:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain full knowledge of drink menus and standard recipes
• Verify guest identification and adhere to all alcohol service regulations
• Set up, stock, and break down bar areas before and after events
• Handle cash and/or POS transactions accurately when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a server and/or bartender required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Bartenders must have knowledge of basic drink preparation
• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation to various event locations across Long Island

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry trays, equipment, or supplies (up to 30–50 lbs)
• Comfortable working both indoor and outdoor events in varying weather conditions

Work Environment

• Event-based assignments in a variety of settings, including indoor venues and outdoor spaces
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environments
• Opportunities to work a wide range of events throughout the summer season

Schedule

• On-call / as-needed basis
• Primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Seasonal summer opportunities with potential for ongoing assignments
