Key Responsibilities

Patient Interaction & Front Desk Support

  • Prepare and clean exam rooms between visits

 

Communication & Scheduling

  • Answer phones, take messages, and assist with appointment scheduling
  • Support staff with coordinating patient visits and procedures
  • Help manage emails and office communication

 

Administrative & Clinical Support

  • Prepare patient charts and documentation
  • Organize and maintain patient records (HIPAA-compliant)
  • Stock exam rooms and office supplies
  • Assist with basic instrument cleaning and sterilization (training provided)
  • Help prepare procedure rooms under staff supervision

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university (pre-med, pre-PA, nursing, or related field preferred)
  • Interested in gaining hands-on healthcare experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Friendly, professional, and compassionate with patients
  • Willing to learn and take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability during the school year (part-time or full-time schedule options available)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus but not required)
