Key Responsibilities
Patient Interaction & Front Desk Support
- Welcome patients and create a friendly, professional environment

- Escort patients to exam rooms and help maintain clinic flow
- Prepare and clean exam rooms between visits
Communication & Scheduling
- Answer phones, take messages, and assist with appointment scheduling
- Support staff with coordinating patient visits and procedures
- Help manage emails and office communication
Administrative & Clinical Support
- Prepare patient charts and documentation
- Organize and maintain patient records (HIPAA-compliant)
- Stock exam rooms and office supplies
- Assist with basic instrument cleaning and sterilization (training provided)
- Help prepare procedure rooms under staff supervision
Ideal Candidate
- Currently enrolled in a college or university (pre-med, pre-PA, nursing, or related field preferred)
- Interested in gaining hands-on healthcare experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate with patients
- Willing to learn and take initiative
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability during the school year (part-time or full-time schedule options available)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus but not required)
