FedEx Delivery Driver

Full time work available.

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

The Position is for a Fedex Delivery Driver. We are an independent contractor with Fedex that delivers in the areas of Manakin, Crozier, Maidens, Goochland, Gum Springs, Bumpass, Montpelier, Beaverdam, and Mineral. We provide the delivery vehicles to deliver both commercial and residential stops.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations

Requirements:

• One year driving experience within the past 3 years : Any work related driving counts (ie. pizza delivery, driving work vehicle, ect)
• Clean driving record.
• DOT physical (provided by us)
• Pass a Drug Test (provided by us)

Compensation:

• One week Training = $120 per day
• $130.00 per day after training

Hours can vary from day to day. You run until you are done. Stop count increases slowly as you get used to the job. Usually 40 stop minimum. After 90 delivery days probationary period a performance review will determine future and possible pay increase.
