Job Description
Dental Receptionist
North County Dental Arts is looking for a friendly, dependable, and eager to learn dental receptionist to join our team. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time in the fall.
Dental experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to learn, organized, professional, and comfortable communicating with patients in both English and Spanish.
Spanish fluency is required for this position.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients warmly and helping create a welcoming front office experience
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and confirming patient visits
Checking patients in and out
Communicating with patients in English and Spanish
Collecting payments and helping patients understand their financial responsibilities
Presenting treatment plans to patients after the doctor’s diagnosis
Reviewing fees, payment options, and basic insurance information with patients
Entering and updating patient information accurately
Helping maintain an organized and efficient front desk
Communicating with the clinical team to help keep the schedule running smoothly
Following up with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and outstanding balances

Comfortable discussing fees and collecting payments
