Commercial Construction Project Manager
Location: Frisco, TX (90% in-office, ~10% travel)
Salary: $100,000–$120,000
Bonus: Performance bonus per project based on budget and PM performance criteria (up to $10,000 per project)

Company Overview
We are a growing, family-owned commercial construction company specializing in modular construction for mission-critical environments, including military installations and data centers. With an expanding national project portfolio, we are adding a Project Manager to support our continued growth. This role offers a defined path to Senior Project Manager, with future oversight of 2–3 Project Managers.
Position Summary
We are seeking a driven Project Manager with experience managing complex commercial construction projects. While experience with modular construction is a plus, it is not required. Candidates who have worked for large general contractors or have successfully managed commercial construction projects of similar size, complexity, and technical scope are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with mission-critical facilities such as data centers or government/military projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 4–5 concurrent construction projects, typically ranging from $3M–$5M (overall project values from $1.5M–$10M)
- Lead projects in military and data center environments while ensuring compliance with strict quality and safety standards
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, execution, and closeout
- Interpret and manage highly technical contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Evaluate and negotiate change orders while clearly defining scope inclusions and exclusions
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and government stakeholders
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and overall project performance to ensure successful delivery
- Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients, vendors, and project teams
Qualifications
- Project management experience in commercial construction
- Experience working for a large general contractor or managing commercial projects of similar scope and complexity is highly preferred
- Experience with mission-critical projects (such as data centers) and/or government or military projects is highly preferred
- Modular construction experience is a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of contracts, project scopes, and change order management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working with highly technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Desire for long-term growth into a Senior Project Manager leadership role
