E&I Technician – Soda Springs, ID
$55.00/hr + $178/day Per Diem (7 Days/Week for Qualified Travelers)
6 x 10 Schedule
Estimated 6-8 Month Assignment | Potential for Extension

Position Summary
A phosphate production facility in Soda Springs, Idaho is seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians to support ongoing industrial maintenance operations. This opportunity offers long-term potential as the client evaluates future maintenance execution strategies.
The E&I Technician will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, repair, installation, and replacement of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems while supporting safe and reliable plant operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, process control, motor control, electrical, and DCS systems.
• Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instrumentation devices.
• Troubleshoot flow meters, temperature control systems, Allen-Bradley VFDs, Siemens motor control systems, pneumatic controls, and associated equipment, including Fisher and Samson valve systems.
• Perform breaker replacement and other electrical maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation documentation.
• Complete maintenance documentation and follow all site safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Journeyman Electrician License or Instrumentation Certification.
• Experience with industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial production environment.
• High-voltage experience is a plus.

• Respirator fit testing required.
