Maintenance Tech | $35-45/hr | 3-Day Weekend | Manufacturing | MD

Maintenance Technician needed at an automated food manufacturing facility in Maryland. $35-45/hr based on experience, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

This is not a building maintenance or facilities role. You will be troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues on fully automated high-speed production lines.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of an established food manufacturing company in Maryland. The facility runs multiple fully automated production lines built with European equipment. The maintenance department is actively growing as the company expands production capacity. New hires are not expected to know the equipment on day one - the team trains hands-on.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will join the day shift maintenance team supporting all production equipment. Two openings available. You will execute scheduled PM routes, respond to equipment issues, and work alongside experienced technicians on a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance across automated production lines
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues
• Read PLC ladder logic and use HMIs to isolate faults
• Document all work completed in the facility's maintenance app daily
• Support new line installations as the facility continues to grow

REQUIRED

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food, packaging, pharma, high-speed production, distribution, or automation all translate well)
• Electrical fundamentals: 480V three-phase, motor controls, VFDs, PLC troubleshooting
• Mechanical fluency: bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, conveyors
• Comfortable with CMMS or maintenance documentation software
• Ability to work independently and prioritize during a shift

BONUS POINTS

• Experience on European-built production equipment
• Multi-line experience in a high-speed manufacturing setting
• Industrial ammonia refrigeration or boiler exposure

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hourly Rate: $35-45/hr based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM | Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off
