Job Summary:
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) supporting enterprise-wide deployment of non-clinical business applications across a large healthcare organization.
This role is ideal for an early to mid-level Project Manager with experience leading enterprise application implementations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing multiple concurrent projects.
The successful candidate will manage small to medium-sized technology initiatives while partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple enterprise application implementation projects from initiation through deployment.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and status reports.
- Coordinate activities among business, technical, vendor, and operational teams.
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and implementation readiness.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support PMO governance standards, reporting, and project controls.
- Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–6 years of IT Project Management experience.
- Experience managing enterprise application implementation or deployment projects.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience preparing project plans, schedules, status reports, and executive updates.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare IT experience preferred.
- Experience working within an Enterprise PMO.
- Familiarity with Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Experience coordinating software implementations, upgrades, or enterprise business applications.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
