Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Leadership
- Lead all aspects of daily restaurant operations while ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing management team and hourly staff.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and guest-focused culture.
- Lead by example while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality.
Operations Management
- Ensure consistent execution of operational procedures, food quality standards, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, inventory control, and daily operational performance.
- Drive speed, accuracy, and efficiency during high-volume service periods.
- Monitor restaurant performance and implement action plans to improve operational results.
Financial Performance
- Maintain full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the restaurant.
- Manage labor, food cost, inventory, and controllable expenses.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to maximize profitability.
- Execute strategies that drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
Team Development
- Coach and mentor Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and hourly team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline through succession planning and employee development.
- Create a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and operational consistency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a high-volume fast-casual or quick-service restaurant.
- Proven success managing full restaurant operations with P&L responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of labor management, food cost control, inventory, scheduling, and restaurant profitability.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Hands-on management style with a passion for developing people.
- Stable employment history with demonstrated career progression.
- Willingness to relocate to Western Massachusetts if not currently local.
