Grand Forks Public School Districtis seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional development of our students. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and intervention skills, a deep understanding of psychological principles, and a passion for contributing to the overall well-being of students. Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct psychological assessments to identify and address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.Interpret assessment results to stakeholders, including educators, parents, and administrators. Counseling and Intervention: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues.Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies. Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Provide consultation on academic and behavioral interventions. Crisis Intervention: Respond to and participate in crisis intervention as needed, providing support to students and staff. Professional Development: Stay current on research and best practices in school psychology.Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.Completed no less than a 500 clock hour supervised internship with school age persons.Licensed as a school psychologist in the state of North Dakota.Nationally Certified School Psychologist through the National Association of School Psychologists. Valid teaching certificate with one or more special education endorsements.
