CNC Machinist – Mills, Lathes, Swiss
Up to $40/hr | Multiple Shifts Available
Industries: Medical | Aerospace | Precision Metal Manufacturing
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Weekend
A well-established, high-tech machine shop is hiring CNC Machinists to support continued growth. This is a clean, climate-controlled facility with modern equipment, strong leadership, and long-term stability. If you have experience with CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines and want consistent work with advancement potential, this role is worth a look.
Job SummaryAs a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes, inspect precision parts, and make minor program edits as needed. You’ll work with both short- and long-run production in a highly organized manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes (Haas and multi-axis machines)
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
- Make minor program edits at the machine
- Run short and long production jobs (multiple setups per week)
- Complete documentation using electronic systems (iPads/tablets)
- Machine aluminum and steel components to tight tolerances
- Follow safety, quality, and production standards
- 1+ year of recent CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or Swiss)
- Experience with setups, tooling, and measuring tools
- Ability to read blueprints and work to specifications
- Experience with Haas machines and/or multi-axis equipment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- $28–$40/hr, based on experience
- Multiple shift options, including weekends
- Monday–Thursday schedules available (long weekends)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prior Lake, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
