Robert Half is partnered with a respected healthcare organization seeking a Pre-Access Coordinator to support patients throughout the registration and appointment preparation process. This position plays a key role in ensuring patients have a smooth experience before their visit while helping maintain accurate records and efficient office operations.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
  • Complete insurance eligibility and benefit verification prior to scheduled appointments
  • Obtain and process referrals and authorizations as needed
  • Provide patients with information regarding financial responsibilities and payment options
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient accounts and medical records
  • Respond to patient inquiries by phone and assist with front office operations
  • Follow established registration and pre-access procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support daily administrative functions, including check-in, check-out, and account maintenance

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in patient registration, healthcare administration, insurance verification, medical billing, or a related healthcare support role preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance plans, third-party payers, and revenue cycle processes is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with computer systems and data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
