Job Description
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Looking for a hands-on maintenance role with competitive pay and room to grow? We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Canton, SD. If you have experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping equipment running at peak performance, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and facility systems
- Work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Complete welding and fabrication projects as needed
- Respond quickly to equipment downtime issues
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Train and support team members on maintenance best practices
- Promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Maintenance, mechanical, or industrial repair experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Electrical aptitude preferred
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and machine repair is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime, rotate shifts, and participate in on-call coverage as needed
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, SD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
