Senior Accountant

Our team is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a talented Senior Accountant who will play a key role in financial reporting, inventory accounting, and operational finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional seeking long-term career growth with a stable and innovative manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and support management reporting.
• Analyze inventory transactions, manufacturing costs, variances, and cost accounting activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, and bank accounts.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure accurate financial data and inventory controls.
• Support external audits, process improvements, and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Sage, or similar manufacturing platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, PivotTables, and financial modeling.
