Job Description
We are seeking a skilled welder who is proficient in welding fabrications and other work as directed by supervisory staff. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in welding various types of steel and aluminum, with experience in bench and MIG welding.
Responsibilities
- Weld aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel components using bench and MIG techniques.
- Perform all aspects of welding area tasks.
- Grind welds to ensure smooth finishes.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently when necessary.
- Follow directions from supervisory staff and adhere to their guidance.
- Attend and successfully complete company-sponsored welding training programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents.
- Set up and assemble various components and machines for welding.
- Maintain a productive work ethic and contribute to a non-disruptive work environment.
- Strive to produce minimal scrap or rework while improving quality levels.
- Follow all company safety rules and policies.
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
- Use proper tooling and equipment safely to meet job requirements.
- Continuously improve in all aspects of job requirements.
- Experience in MIG welding, especially with aluminum (1-2 years preferred).
- Ability to read a tape measure and welding blueprints.
- Mechanical skills and some computer skills.
- 6 months of similar experience or Weld Program Certification from an accredited Trade School or Vocational Program preferred.
- Authorization to work in the US.
- TIG and stick welding experience.
- Computer skills are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
- Experience with grinding or setting up a welding machine.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime opportunities on Fridays. The facility is not climate-controlled, requiring adaptability to various temperatures. The job involves standing on concrete floors for most of the shift, lifting and pushing weight, and some climbing, crouching, and kneeling activities. Safety is a priority, and employees are expected to use hoists for lifting heavier items.
