Join Bausch + Lomb for a job fair on Tuesday, June 16th from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Staybridge Suites at Rochester; 1000 Genesee Street, Rochester, NY 14611!

Work Schedule

We offer **two options **— both 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime and days off:

  • Rotating Day/Night Shift: Week 1: Mon/Tues (6 AM–6 PM), Fri/Sat/Sun (6 PM–6 AM) - Week 2: Wed/Thurs (6 AM–6 PM)
  • Straight Night Shift: 6 PM–6 AM, following a 2-2-3 schedule

Shift Differential: An additional 15% of the employee's regular hourly rate will be paid for hours worked during 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to effectively resolve problems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on motors, including replacement and repair tasks.
  • Utilize pneumatic and hydraulic systems knowledge to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding equipment status and issues.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and schematics.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills with a focus on motor maintenance.
  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills for shop-related tasks.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
