**Required Skills/Certifications/Experience:** - Minimum Years of Experience: 2 - Skills in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures - Procedures knowledge: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization - Medications familiarity: Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal agents, Thrombolytics - IV Therapy skills: Blood Product Administration, IV infusion pumps, Starting IVs - Professional Knowledge and Skills: 12 Lead EKG, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Infection Prevention, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocols, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Sheath Removal and Monitoring - Certifications: ACLS, BLS **Preferred Skills/Certifications/Experience:** - Work Settings: Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures - Additional Procedures: ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Impella insertion, Rotablader athrectomy, Scrub Procedures, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR) - Vascular Studies/Procedures: Angioplasty, dialysis graft interventional, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography - IV Therapy: Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, Implanted Ports - Care and Maintenance, PICC Lines - Care and Maintenance - Advanced Professional Knowledge and Skills: End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, External Compression Devices (C-Clamp, Sandbags), Hypothermia protocols, Laser Assisted Procedures, Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention, Radiation and Laser Safety, Topical Hemostasis (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch), Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Ventilator Monitoring
