Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at a critical access hospital in Bryson City, NC, with experience in ortho/neuro and multi-setting care required.

• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
\n
• 13-week contract
\n
• Physical Therapy department at a 48-bed critical access hospital
\n
• Services span acute/inpatient, transitional, and outpatient care settings
\n
• 1:1 patient therapy ratio
\n
• Patient population includes orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and pelvic health cases
\n
• Charting via Redoc (outpatient)
\n
• No call requirements
\n
• Occasional floating may be required depending on staffing needs
\n
• Weekend hours are unlikely but noted as every other weekend in scheduling system
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; new graduates will be considered
\n
• Experience in ortho/neuro, acute/transitional/outpatient, pediatrics, and pelvic health required
\n
• AHA certifications required
\n
• Active PT license required if applicable
\n
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
\n
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
\n

• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible

• Located in Bryson City, NC, a small town in the Great Smoky Mountains with access to hiking, biking, kayaking, and tubing at Deep Creek
