\n\nUnit Highlights: Surgical PCU
\n\nSurgical PCU is a new and growing unit, 20 beds unit with strong focus on Post Cath procedural patients. We have a mix of patients from strokes to post procedure. COPD and CHF exacerbations. The level of acuity ranges from low to moderate.
\n\nSchedule: Full Time 3 / 12hrs shifts 6:45a - 7:15p - 3 /12s w/rotation of weekend and holidays
\n\nJob Description:
\n\nAssesses and interprets diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
\nMakes appropriate decisions and implements interventions based on nursing diagnoses according to patients' actual or potential health conditions or needs.
\nSets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
\nPrioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed.
\nCompletes timely assessments including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, including signs of abuse or neglect.

Education:
\n • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
\n • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
\n • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
\n • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
