American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a day-shift inpatient rehabilitation unit position in Gainesville, FL.
Details\n- \n
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building \n
- 30-bed unit staffed by a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and techs \n
- Patient ratio of 7:1 \n
- Day shift only, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM \n
- Weekend rotation required \n
- SNF experience accepted \n
- Documentation system: Meditech Expanse \n
- Typical equipment includes balance systems and gait systems standard to an inpatient rehab gym \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience, with active practice within the last 6 months \n
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) \n
- Active PT license required where applicable \n
- Two professional references required for Florida-based candidates \n
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSN accepted \n
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible \n

- Responsibilities include patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, family and patient education, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and functional training \n
- This is a new hospital and unit startup \n
