American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift travel contract at an acute care hospital in South Carolina, requiring 2+ years of emergency room experience and active SC or Compact RN license.

- Work in the Emergency Department of a 119-bed acute care hospital \n
- Acuity-based patient ratios \n
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- Floating within scope of practice required to meet facility needs \n
- Charting via Epic \n
- \n
- Active SC or Compact RN license required \n
- Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n
- Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC \n
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room RN experience required \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have emergency room experience \n
- Scrub color: Royal Blue \n
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space on campus \n
- Local candidates (within 60 miles of the facility) are accepted on a case-by-case basis \n
- Block scheduling is available upon manager approval \n
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as approval is based on facility needs \n
- During hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September \n
