Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department Director for a travel nursing job in Cut Bank, Montana.

\n BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC and STABLE preferred\n

\n
\n Must have a minimum of a BSN or higher\n
\n \n
\n
Familiar with EMTALA, understanding state and federal regulations, comfortable being hands-on and helping on the floor and in the ER when needed, helping with codes if needed (mixing meds). Understanding of trauma coordination, case management, budget planning/management, familiar with Union Contracts
\n\n
Soft Skills: comfortable managing different personality types and understanding staff strength/weaknesses, comfortable speaking with providers, comfortable being a reassuring leader
\n\n
RN: Inpatient 1:4, ER the nurses rotate no one designated as the “ER” nurse
\n- \n
- 2 Nurses per shift 0545-1815 (days), 1745-0615 (nights) \n
- 1 Midshift nurse 1200-0000 this is to help with coverage at shift ch \n

\n
Patient population: COPD Exacerbation, Diabetes, Behavioral Health, Chest Pain, URI, UTI, Trauma, Chest Pain, Stroke. All ages
\n\n
Mostly DON duties of a critical access hospital. Will be “wearing several different hats”!
