Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) – Per Diem\n

Are you a Respiratory Therapist looking for a flexible opportunity to make an impact in patient care? We are seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRTs) or Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to support a hospital-based respiratory care team on a per diem basis.

Position Overview

\n

In this role, you will provide respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring for patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality respiratory care while helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Assess, evaluate, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
\n
• Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other respiratory interventions
\n
• Manage and monitor respiratory equipment and therapeutic devices
\n
• Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate respiratory support
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
\n
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and therapies
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
\n
• Support emergency and critical respiratory care needs when necessary
\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
\n
• Current state licensure, if required
\n
• Current BLS certification
\n
• Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred
\n
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
\n

Schedule

\n

\n
• 12-hour day shifts
\n
• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
\n
• Per diem scheduling with flexibility based on availability
\n
