\n Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR\n

Position Overview
\n We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a busy Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. In this role, you will assist surgeons during a variety of complex cardiovascular procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the surgical team has the instruments and supplies needed for successful patient outcomes.

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
\n
• Travel contract assignment
\n

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room for cardiovascular surgeries.
\n
• Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and specialty supplies for each procedure.
\n
• Scrub and assist surgeons during open heart and vascular procedures.
\n
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining an organized sterile field.
\n
• Perform instrument counts before, during, and after procedures.
\n
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and sterile processing standards.
\n
• Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and preparation for subsequent cases.
\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other OR staff to provide exceptional patient care.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
\n
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience required.
\n
• Experience scrubbing open heart and complex cardiovascular procedures preferred.
\n
• Current BLS certification required.
\n
• Previous travel experience is a plus but not required.
\n
