Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position in New Jersey, requiring at least 1 year of critical care experience and an active NJ RN license.

Details\n

• Position is based in a hospital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
\n
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
\n
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts
\n
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• EMR: Epic (experience preferred)
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NJ RN license required (compact license accepted if currently valid in NJ)
\n
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN strongly preferred
\n
• Minimum 1 year of critical care RN experience in a hospital setting required
\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
\n

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team using a Shared Governance model focused on evidence-based practice
\n
• Strong communication and computer skills are essential for this role

• Background check and drug screen required prior to start; results may take up to 2 weeks to process
