Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Marinette, WI.

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy Services department of a 99-bed Level III Trauma Center in Marinette, WI
\n
• Patient population spans neonate to geriatric with respiratory conditions
\n
• 1:1 patient ratio
\n
• Performs procedures including intubations (assist), mechanical ventilation, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, and ABG collection
\n
• BiPAP equipment: V60s and V30s; Ventilators: Puritan Bennett 840; Transport vents: Hamilton and Enve
\n
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
\n
• 12-hour night shifts, 1800–0630, 36 hours per week
\n
• Every third weekend rotation (open to every weekend if preferred)
\n
• Holiday rotation required
\n
• Minimal on-call requirements
\n
• Floating throughout the hospital
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• CRT or RRT credential required
\n
• Active state license required, if applicable
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
\n
• Minimum 12 months of core experience in respiratory therapy, with most recent experience within the last year
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, dated within the past year
\n
• COVID vaccine required
\n

Additional Information\n

• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
\n
• Local candidates are accepted
\n
• Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible
\n
• Orientation consists of 1 shift to learn unit flow
\n
• Unit is staffed with 2 RTs per shift and a house supervisor available 24/7
\n
• Any scrub color is acceptable
\n
• Free parking is available on site
