American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 7–10 years of cardiac ultrasound experience, including independent pediatric and congenital echocardiography, for a pediatric cardiology setting.

- Pediatric cardiology setting specializing in congenital and fetal echocardiography \n
- Patient population includes pediatric and fetal cardiac cases \n
- Performs complex congenital heart and fetal echocardiograms independently \n
- Assists with special and invasive cardiac procedures \n
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM \n
- On-call coverage required Monday through Sunday on a rotating 3-week schedule \n
- May be required to travel between cardiology clinic locations for fetal imaging coverage \n

- 7–10 years of cardiac clinical ultrasound experience \n
- Experience independently performing pediatric and congenital echocardiograms \n
- RDCS or RCS credential, or registry eligibility through ARDMS or CCI \n
- Current AHA BLS certification \n
- Associate Degree in Allied Health or related field, completion of a 2–4 year Diagnostic Ultrasound program, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree \n
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments \n
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration \n
- License required if applicable \n

- Analyze imaging data and present findings to cardiologists and physicians \n
- Collaborate with cardiologists regarding fetal echocardiogram findings and educate patients and families about procedures \n
- Responsible for maintaining echocardiography equipment and supporting quality improvement initiatives \n
- ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credential preferred \n
- Minimum 2 years of fetal echocardiography experience preferred \n
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration \n
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required \n
