Specialty: Registered Nurse-Oncology
\n Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
\n Shift Length: (36 hours/week, 4x9-hour shifts)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
\nStart Date: August 3, 2026
Call Requirement: May participate in a Saturday call rotation (approximately once every 11 weeks)
Unit: Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Center (18 infusion chairs)

Requirements:
\n- \n
- Minimum 1 year of Oncology RN experience preferred. \n
- Recent chemotherapy administration experience is required. \n
- Ambulatory/Outpatient Oncology experience required. \n
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification through ONS is required. \n
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) preferred but not required. \n
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. \n
- Strong assessment, IV therapy, and patient education skills. \n
Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration, and supportive oncology treatments following established protocols. \n
- Monitor patients for infusion reactions and provide timely interventions as needed. \n
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after treatment. \n
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and follow-up care. \n
- Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary oncology team. \n
