Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Circulate cardiac surgery cases, including CABG procedures — required skill, hard stop
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular surgical equipment in compliance with unit standards
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Fulfill on-call requirements, including approximately 2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Must be able to circulate cardiac/heart cases — candidates without this skill will not be considered
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
• Ability to meet on-call obligations as outlined by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating cardiac surgery cases in a high-volume OR environment
• Familiarity with CABG and other open-heart surgical procedures
• Collaborative, team-oriented professional with a calm, drama-free demeanor
