DataStage ETL Engineer

ComResource is looking for a DataStage ETL Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
• Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
• Ensure that all systems meet business requirements as well as industry best practices.
• Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
• Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
• Create custom software components and analytics applications.
• Research new uses for existing data.
• Employ a variety of technological languages and tools to connect systems together.
• Collaborate with team members including data architects, IT team members, and data scientists on project goals.
• Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
• Recommend ways to continuously improve data reliability and quality.

Essentials:

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience with non-relational and relational databases including SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
• Experience programming and/or architecting a backend language such as Java or J2EE.
• Experience with Snowflake, DataStage, and ETL processes.
• Business analysis and business intelligence experience.

Desired:

• Mainframe experience.
