CNC Machinist

Our client, a top distributor of high-performance engineered plastic shapes, is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team. In this position, you’ll contribute to essential manufacturing operations as part of a committed and highly skilled group. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an effective problem-solver, and a collaborative team player who aligns with the company’s core values

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $20 – $29 per hour

2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00pm – 2:30am
                              OR 
Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6am-6pm.

What's the Job?

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machinery.
• Interpret detailed drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets.
• Monitor machine operations and identify any malfunctions.
• Perform inspections and gauging to ensure all components meet quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform diversified operations on CNC machines to close and interrelated tolerances.
• Experience in reviewing setup sheets and specifications to determine sequence and dimensions of finished workpieces.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
