Assembly Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $17.75 - $26/hour based on specific role and experience.

Shift: 1st and 2nd

What's the Job?

• Assemble products and components according to work orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Operate assembly equipment, hand tools, power tools, drills, presses, staplers, and other production machinery as needed.
• Perform precision assembly tasks, including working with small and intricate components.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records, inspection logs, and documentation.

What's Needed?

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• 6 months - 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to perform detailed work requiring close visual focus, including precision assembly tasks.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
