Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the menu.
Read the KDS monitor and prepare orders as indicated.
- React to each item ordered. The key word there is react …There is no time to think.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of order hierarchy.
- Communicate accurately to the cook how much food should be always cooking.
- Maintain proper appearance of every order. & Maintain a clean work area.
- Making sure that the sandwich/salad/wrap station is properly stocked for each shift as well as the dipping sauce station.
- Effectively lead a team of peers.
- Communicate pleasantly and effectively with a Guest without being able to see them.
- Take orders and answer all questions that a drive thru Guest may have. It is very important that DT Team Members can articulate their answers in a clear and concise manner without face-to-face interaction.
- Multitask and communicate with two Guests at once. It is a common occurrence to be taking money and handing out an order at the window, while also having a Guest ordering from the drive thru speaker.
- Take multicable lanes orders even if assigned to specific lanes to help during busy and rush times
- Prepare DT Guests’ drinks., DT Guest Deserts DT or FOH Guest Shakes
- Help refill ice pin, help change all pip of drinks if needed, Help DT expo
- Help run food for dining room & DT, Run food outside for DT lanes or 3rd Party delivery lanes
- Perform all pre/post rush tasks
- Complete all tasks required by Manager on duty or management Team
Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Manager Certification
- Restaurant back of house skills: expediting
- Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
- Restaurant back of house skills: general food prep
- Restaurant back of house skills: fry station
- Restaurant back of house skills: grill station
- Restaurant front of house skills: front counter
- Restaurant front of house skills: serving in fast casual
- Restaurant front of house skills: drive thru
- Restaurant front of house skills: point of sale (POS) operation
- Speaks English
- Management skills: supervising employees
