10:00 PM shift, Sunday–Thursday  (Sunday and Monday 12 hour shifts)  

$28.00/ hour

A well-established Food Distribution Company in Oakdale, CA. is seeking a Working Warehouse Swing Shift Supervisor. We are a growing company that believes in promoting from within, however recent growth has us seeking a qualified candidate from outside. Responsibilities and Duties

Duties and responsibilities include managing warehouse operations Sunday through Thursday, inventory control and planning the use of resources such as labor, time and materials.

• Inventory Management - counting boxes quickly and accurately, regular rotation of product inventory (FIFO), perform regular cycle counts, etc.
• Working in Cold Storage - regularly working in cooler and freezer environment
• Order selecting - scanning completed orders
• Load and Unloading trailers - using Forklift and electric Pallet Jacks
• Training, managing and motivating warehouse staff
• Communication - ability to professionally communicate verbally and electronically with other staff.
• Maintaining equipment maintenance records
• Meeting deadlines and handling pressure
• Drafting emails on the computer, creating and modifying company documents, procedures, disciplinary actions, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5 + years of warehouse operation experience - required.
• Food Industry experience - preferred.
• Prior Supervisor experience - preferred.
• Prior experience working in cold storage - preferred.
• The ability to train and motivate employess
