Fire Sprinkler Construction Project Manager

The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple fire sprinkler installation projects simultaneously. This role requires strong leadership, organization, budgeting, scheduling, and communication skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage fire sprinkler projects from preconstruction through project completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, engineers, AHJs, and internal departments.
• Review contracts, project specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage material procurement and equipment deliveries.
• Oversee project labor, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, testing, inspections, and final documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of fire sprinkler project management experience.
• Strong understanding of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pump systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 20, NFPA 25, and applicable local fire codes.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Certification (Level II–IV) preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with ERP or construction management software.
