The Role
As our Restaurant Manager, you will be the face of our dining room and the driving force behind our front-of-house team. You will maintain a highly visible presence on the floor, ensuring every guest receives warm, attentive, and professional service. You will coordinate closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless service execution while mentoring your team and fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service to support staff, engage with guests, and resolve any feedback or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house staff. Coach and mentor team members to uphold service standards and promote a respectful workplace culture.
- Shift Operations: Oversee opening and closing procedures, reservations, floor plans, and table management. Ensure service runs smoothly, managing flow, pacing, and table turns.
- Financial & Administrative: Assist with budgeting, labor control, cost management, and liquor/alcohol inventory. Handle cash management, POS reporting, and track sales performance to meet financial goals.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, servers, bartenders, and support staff. Support menu rollouts, seasonal changes, and staff education alongside the Culinary Leadership team.
- Compliance & Technology: Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations. Utilize POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and restaurant management software for daily administrative tasks.
