CDL Class B Truck Driver

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to operate flatbed trucks, triaxle, and end dump vehicles primarily on regional routes within the state. The driver will handle general freight, performing vehicle inspections and ensuring cargo is securely loaded. This role is ideal for an independent driver who values safety, efficiency, and reliable time management. Overnight travel is rare, allowing for a strong work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed, triaxle, and end dump trucks safely and efficiently
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Handle and secure general freight cargo appropriately for transit
• Adhere to all safety regulations and compliance standards
• Maintain accurate driving logs and documentation
• Manage load securing procedures to prevent cargo damage
• Plan time effectively to complete regional routes on schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional trucking experience
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Proficiency with regional route navigation
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent time management to meet route deadlines
