Automotive Sales Consultant - Now Hiring

Position Overview

We are seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team. In this role, you will engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs, demonstrate vehicle features, and guide them through the sales process. Your goal is to build strong customer relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their vehicle preferences and needs.
• Explain and demonstrate vehicle features and operation in the showroom and on test drives.
• Recommend optional equipment and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and process all sales-related paperwork, including credit applications and sales contracts.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operation, warranty, and documentation.
• Maintain a prospect development system to cultivate potential customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly throughout the workday.
• Occasional lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to exhaust fumes or airborne particles.
• Vision capabilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Ability to read and interpret business materials, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and customer interaction.
• Problem-solving skills to handle varied sales situations with minimal standardization.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions effectively.
