Position Overview
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you are the backbone of the property. You will balance advanced hands-on technical work with strategic leadership, ensuring the safety, quality, and overall "curb appeal" of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the on-site maintenance team. You'll manage schedules, assign work orders, and foster a professional, high-performance culture.
- Technical Excellence: Oversee and perform advanced repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
- Operational Management: Master the work order system, coordinate with outside vendors, and manage the "make-ready" process to ensure vacant units are move-in ready on time.
- Budgeting & Inventory: Partner with the Community Manager to manage maintenance expenses, order supplies, and stay within budget.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience: 2-3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a residential setting.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop at least one or more direct reports.
- Certifications: EPA Universal Certification is required. (HVAC certification is a plus).
- Communication: Fluent English proficiency (written and verbal) for resident interaction and safety manuals.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems + general computer literacy for work orders.
Compensation details: 28-34 Hourly Wage
