We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and responding to equipment breakdowns. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, works well in a team environment, and is committed to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Repair, rebuild, and maintain plant equipment and components
- Perform welding, fabrication, pipefitting, and general mechanical repairs as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and electrical safety standards
- Maintain clean and sanitary work areas after maintenance activities
- Support food safety and sanitation requirements, including HACCP procedures
- Accurately document maintenance activities and communicate equipment issues
- Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and pipefitting techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and electrical systems
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and safe work practices
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders
- Full-time position
- Must be available to work all shifts
- Overtime may be required based on production needs
