This role combines factory-based assembly work with off-site delivery and installation of sports equipment at customer locations such as stadiums, gyms, training facilities, and other venues. You assemble and set up equipment according to product specifications and customer requirements, ensure safe and proper installation, and provide on-site support to customers throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Perform factory assembly work when not scheduled for off-site assignments.
- Deliver sports equipment to customer locations, including stadiums, gyms, training facilities, and other venues.
- Assemble and set up equipment according to product specifications and customer needs.
- Ensure all equipment is installed safely and correctly in line with company and industry standards.
- Provide on-site customer support by answering questions and addressing concerns during installation.
- Inspect delivered items to verify quality, completeness, and accuracy before installation.
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed during or after installation.
- Collaborate with logistics and customer service teams to coordinate delivery and installation schedules.
- Maintain tools and installation equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols during transportation, delivery, assembly, and installation activities.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in using power tools to assemble wood and related components to equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints to guide assembly and installation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices while performing assembly and installation tasks.
- Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure.
- Mechanical assembly skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Experience working in a factory or production environment.
- Experience assembling or installing equipment at customer sites.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs or adjustments on equipment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage tools, materials, and schedules effectively.

Work Environment
You work primarily in a factory setting with regular use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to assemble wood and related components to sports equipment. The role also involves traveling to customer locations such as stadiums, gyms, and training facilities to complete deliveries and installations. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a predictable daytime schedule. Safety protocols are a core part of daily operations, and you follow established procedures during transportation, assembly, and installation activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnton, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
