Project Manager Manufacturing
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead project planning, execution, and client coordination for a fast-growing, USA-based manufacturer in Houston, TX.
This position is ideal for a project management professional with experience in the contract furniture or commercial interiors industry who can balance detailed documentation and coordination with hands-on problem-solving to deliver an excellent client experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, designers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee product specifications, quoting, ordering, and delivery schedules in collaboration with operations and strategic vendors
Coordinate and manage installation schedules, site readiness, and punch list resolution
Support projects tied to government contracts (GSA) and ensure regulatory compliance throughout
QUALIFICATIONS
3-5+ years of experience in project management (within manufacturing is a plus)
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in program management
Excellent analytical skills to evaluate and manage project data
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Furniture manufacturing or contract/commercial interiors industry Government contracts (GSA) and regulatory compliance requirements Working directly with designers, dealers, and installation teams Managing change orders and complex documentation workflows
