Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in a dynamic machine shop and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in various manual tasks such as washing and drying parts, deburring, and stacking/sorting/boxing/unboxing parts and gears. Each day will present new challenges, so a willingness to learn, train, and assist wherever needed is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual jobs in a machine shop and warehouse environment.
- Wash and dry parts, ensuring cleanliness and quality.
- Deburr parts to ensure smooth finishes.
- Stack, sort, box, and unbox parts and gears efficiently.
- Adapt to different tasks each day and show a willingness to learn.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of production and/or general labor experience.
- Strong desire to work for a small, family-owned business.
- Passion for the work and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
Work in a 100,000 square foot machine shop equipped with over 50 CNC and manual machines. Collaborate with the shipping team or machine operators to support their roles. The shop operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a fast-paced and varied work environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
