Why Work Here?
You will join a mission-driven agricultural operation that helps support the global food supply while maintaining a strong focus on safety and teamwork. The environment values reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic, and offers the opportunity to learn a wide range of production, equipment, and warehousing skills. With consistent hours, shift differentials, and regular overtime opportunities, you can build steady income while gaining experience in a modern agricultural production facility. Reliable attendance and strong performance can lead to consideration for full-time employment, and there is potential for attendance and performance bonuses depending on the season.
Work Environment
This role is based at an agricultural production site that is physical and fast-paced. You will work in both indoor plant areas and outdoor spaces, often in a dirty or dusty environment despite a strong focus on cleanliness and safety. The work involves exposure to all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, mud, and dust, as well as agricultural allergens such as corn pollen, insects, and potential bee stings. Personal protective equipment is required and provided, including hard hat, safety vest, steel-toed or composite-toe boots, and hearing protection. The facility operates multiple shifts, including 1st shift (typically around 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), 2nd shift with varying start times (such as 11:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.), and 3rd shift (around 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.). Some teams follow a 3.5 days on / 3.5 days off schedule with 12-hour shifts (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.), and box wash operations are primarily on third shift (10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.). The standard workweek is about 40 hours with frequent overtime and weekend work, and you will participate in an initial training period on first shift that combines classroom instruction with hands-on training on the production floor. A clean, safety-focused culture supports the use of PPE and adherence to procedures while you perform strenuous, hands-on work throughout the facility. For
