Job Description
This role operates a high reach forklift to safely move, store, and retrieve product within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. You will load and unload trucks, put product away in designated locations, and pick product by hand, frequently handling items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position requires comfort with physical work, attention to safety, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach truck forklift to move product throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load trucks with outgoing product according to shipping schedules and instructions.
- Unload incoming trucks and transport product to appropriate storage or processing areas.
- Put product away in designated locations, ensuring accurate placement and organization.
- Pick product by hand to fulfill orders, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the forklift and surrounding storage zones.
- Assist in general warehouse and manufacturing tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help beyond core duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate loading, unloading, and order picking activities.
- Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift and stand-up reach truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move product weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Experience with order picking and handling product by hand.
- Strong awareness of safety practices related to forklift operation and material handling.
- Willingness to be flexible and assist with tasks outside of core responsibilities without saying "it’s not my job."
- Ability to work reliably on a set schedule and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfort working in a physically demanding role in varying temperature conditions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating reach trucks or reach forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Background in general warehouse operations such as loading, unloading, and product put-away.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, busy team environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in attendance and performance.

Work Environment
The role is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility that can be dirty and dusty, with hot conditions during the summer and cold conditions during the winter. The work is performed on a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will spend most of your time on the warehouse floor operating a stand-up reach truck and handling product by hand in an active, physical setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
